"A monolithic machine has been constructed within this Wonderland.

A machine of blind malevolence which stealthily murders Time each night in our chambers, stabbing softly with falsely comforting messages, and frequent plot shifts and catchy melodies and look, the next day is dawning..."

The above is an extract from a piece I wrote earlier in the year.

It's time I substantiated and fleshed out some of my underlying themes from what could easily be characterized by a casual observer to this Blog as typical, overly dramatic prose flourishes which often litter these pages without explanation...

It's time I dressed some of this wordy imagery in body and clothes...:

"The Dawn of the Television Behemoth"...

“Watching television is like taking black spray paint to your third eye.” ― Bill Hicks

Emerging out of the Commedia dell'arte tradition or 'comedies with masks' which began in 16th Century Italy, the Punch and Judy Puppet Shows served a useful social function, one which was usually administered with the calming effect of comedic honey, by introducing memes into society at large, for town and city-dwellers all over the world.

These puppet shows could provide pure entertainment, delighting both young
and old, and they could be the vehicle for social satire and political commentary, uniting the audience in a shared communal experience by allowing it's audience to be exposed to the latest memes and new ideas being talked about or heard on the 'grapevine'.

The puppetry performances were a world in miniature, an artificial fusion of stage, strings, marvelously over-blown characters and theatrical curtains with hidden mechanisms manipulated often by just one person in a creative effort to tell a story.

The human art of Story-telling of course stretches all the way back to the 35,000 year old cave paintings adorning the walls of the Lascaux Caves in France and even back then they were used as a technology for shaping tribal behavior and organizational change.

Ordinarily the inhabitants of a town might view one of these performances perhaps once a week in the town square...for the rest of humanity, it was often traveling carnivals which passed through their region perhaps once a year which provided the only opportunity to view a show.

Puppet Shows have a classic duality usually consisting of a Hero, the protagonist and a Villain locked in eternal conflict, and conflict is the engine of the story, the source of all pyrotechnics and comedic merriment.

It's a simple format which has worked effectively right up to our present day TV shows.

Now, imagine if instead of viewing the performance of a puppet show once a year or once a week, the vast bulk of Humanity suddenly went collectively insane...

Imagine that they began this delirium by devoting a large chunk of their lives as slaves to a meaningless job consisting of 8-hour shifts which bled away time in the tedious, acrid haze of the proletarian work-ethic afternoon...and then, exhausted, hungry and tired the vast bulk of humanity simply sat down en masse, like Lemming hordes in a kind of religious rapture and devoted their remaining waking hours to watching vicariously, as an endless run of Puppet Shows pregnant with memes washed over them and infiltrated their subconscious.

And imagine that they continued to do this for the rest of their sleep-walking lives...

Imagine the ramifications collectively for such a species, being mind-massaged, conditioned day after day after day for almost a century.
Neuro-plasticity is already a cliche and yet there are still many among us who blithely ignore the incredibly toxic and corrosive effects of our viewing behavior with little or no consideration given to any deleterious effects or long term consequences to the species and our future.

We need to put this world-wide behavioral pattern clearly into perspective here.

"Advertising is legalized lying" said the far-sighted H.G.Wells and free to air television, with it's commercial agenda has been doing precisely that for almost 90 years, ever since the first Television blazed into operation.

"Did you know? Nine out of ten Doctors prefer Camel cigarettes, for pure smoking pleasure!"

Imagine...all over the World...every single night, Humanity is there, eagerly hunched over in front of the Box, waiting to be given it's nightly, sugar-coated 'blue pill' of poison, cleverly disguised as entertainment, as a harmless 'Opiate for the masses' from the warming glow of the Television screen.

Imagine...Humanity ritualistically receiving it's nightly infusion of Lies and the official, homogeneously shaped political narrative, followed by another fictional dose of unrequited love, some cheap but entertaining murders, a quick Fear-laden update from a Government hack, another war-mongering 'proud to be American' message and then it's off to process the subliminal hate, the bigotry, the violence and the pathological indifference.

To assimilate and allow the night's official corporate and government manipulations to set and congeal in our heads.

And in the morning we rinse and repeat the day all over again, culminating at the end of an identical hard day's night with another full evening's TV viewing of fictional trash and pulp stories covered in a slick coating of Government sleaze and Government porn...endlessly replicated ad nauseum All Over The Western World!

7 Days a Week. 365 days a year. Year after year. Decade after decade.

Exactly as Orwell had described in the prophetic '1984' which appears increasingly relevant with every passing year.

Due to the silencing and intimidation of most of our Independent news journalists by a feeding frenzy of corporate/privatized/government sharks wielding the Patriot act in a hostile manner, it has become ever more difficult for the average citizen to discern the truth from lies.

Those who remain to push the buttons and pull the puppet strings on the release of printable information i.e whats left of our so-called compromised 'Fourth Estate', behave in common like the official mouthpieces for a typical fascist Government, like painted, lascivious whores of the Corporatocracy.

When the CIA is embedded within every News network organization, their media releases of bite-sized distortions, sound bites and infomercials forms a rich texture of poisonous memes, and via the merciless strategy of repetition our perceptions are gradually transformed, as they chant and trumpet their untruths and spread their propaganda blatantly :

"And now, here is THE News"

Because of their ubiquitous and singular ability to shape public perception, the veracity of today's Television message has very little to do with the Truth.

Any left-over fragments of an independent voice, an objective free press, those last paranoid vestiges of the legitimate 'Fourth Estate', who were enshrined by the Constitution to act as a check or counter-balance to the official party line have largely been drowned by the echoing cacophony of ideologically identical, cloned TV messages.

Uncle Sam the Spin Doctor is in the House! and all media outlets now speak with the same tongue and read from the same script.

Madison avenue and the remaining 6 Jackals of the American Corporate Media are without exception driven by a pathological need to feed the Machine...permanently in pursuit of profit as the sole objective.

The Governments meanwhile are locked in a sick, symbiotic embrace with the Media as they are naturally complicit in this on-going rewrite of History and along for the ride.

This hinders any real inclination towards the truth or objective reporting among it's participants as 'making waves' or rocking the boat is invariably rewarded with censure and dismissal.

Imagine...the perception of the 'Truth', as presented by the mainstream media, upon which many base their own reality, has been sacrificed on the altar of the holy dollar!

Alas this is nothing new and for most of us, in our quiet, reflective moments we already admit to ourselves that the message coming from the Box is mostly Spin and Lies for an Imperialist agenda.

So what?

Q: What are the ramifications and full import of such a scenario?

A: We should never forget that our Technology acts as a catalyst for our species...enabling us to evolve.

And that is exactly what we have been doing now for almost 90 years...adapting, changing and ultimately evolving in subtle, mysterious sub-conscious shifts.

So we are forced to ask ourselves, in what direction are we incrementally evolving and what type of animal is it precisely that we are being shaped into?

Story-telling, myths and folklore were always a part of the human condition, after all that's how memes are generated and spread, but to be subjected to an endless stream of uniform, fictional plot lines hour after hour, show after show for the duration of an entire evening is just obsession and over-kill.

And repeating this unnerving, unnatural embrace with technology and it's vicarious mind-wash, 7 daze a week for an entire Lifetime?

I guess that would be called : Embracing the's literally taking the 'Blue Pill' from "The Matrix" over and over...

I humbly suggest this is destructive to the psychic health of the average human being and hence equally deadly to the health of our species as a whole.

We allow a synthetic, two-dimensional semblance of reality to wash over us each and every evening from the Television screen.

But in the process we are losing touch with our authentic, primal selves, with each other, with our natural environment, with the fading whispers of another 'Reality' and with the voice of our own inner nature as it softly declines...
and we are losing the ability to create and shape something original and personal with our own hands and out of our own imaginations.

Before Radio and Television were invented, families were bonded together by their use of their own imaginations and creativity to fashion entertainment for themselves of an evening...they would sing operettas, chant Shakespeare and Homer at each other, hold recitation evenings taking it in turns to read the characters from a Eugene O'Neill play, they would memorize obscure symbolist Poetry or play the piano, play the Harp, play the Sax or sit around together telling each other jokes and horror stories, they would play word games, riddles, match stick puzzles, assemble sailing ships in a bottle, play canasta, play with their pets, take long romantic walks communing with Nature...they would conduct Astronomical parties, using Newtonian reflecting Telescopes to bring to life and reveal in sharp relief the shadows, that fell inside craters on the dusty oceans of the Moon...they would learn Morse code, learn to meditate,
they would learn how to use a loom...learn how to speak a foreign language, they would crochet incredible vistas of Canada or the Rocky Mountains and they would perform hilarious Puppet Shows which sometimes went on for days...the list never ends, and neither does the creativity and productivity of the average human being given the right circumstances and environment.

Unfortunately to our own detriment, today we are more content to simply rely on the Box to do all the work for us.

In other words we have forgotten how to 'Play', and 'Play' is how you stimulate Dopamine...something which has always been fundamental to the equilibrium of the Human psyche.

In the process we blindly rob ourselves of personal growth and the joys of human interaction by learning through mutually doing.

Our Dopamine levels and some of the other chemical levels swimming around in our brains are undergoing subtle changes.

Over-stimulation of our brains through the vicarious violence and sexuality on our television screens leads to a numbing effect, which shuts down Dopamine receptors...this is well known i.e hence, we are made mute...'zombified'

Imagine a whole Island colony of Monkeys which had been living in relative harmony with a sense of family and a sense of community...with social cohesion to spare.

Industrious, creative creatures who spent a regular portion of each day in the Sun, engaged in fruitful and constructive personal and community endeavors.

Now imagine one day that due to an unexpected, accidental release of precious goods from within the belly of the beast...from the enigmatic Gods of the Cargo-cult, that the entire island suddenly became infested by a downpour of TV's...sleek, black 'idiot boxes' which fell from the skies.

There are more than enough sets for every Man, Woman and Dog on the island.

Whereas previously the islanders would spend their evenings around a fire-place interacting with each other and bonding as a family or tribe, as a result of this wondrously seductive and time-consuming technology, the Monkeys now spend their entire evenings in a solitary trance and still sitting side by side.

Hopelessly addicted to the Box by fabulous imagery and seduced by the promises of Consumerism and Materialism per se, the Monkey's usual family activities of an evening, and their collective growth and natural progression towards harmony as a species in general have all been halted in their tracks...the Monkeys have been made malleable...controlled...pacified...and zombified and all now possess the identical world view...the officially corporate or imperial reality.

Psycho-socially they are less adept at communicating among their own kind, becoming introverted, fearful and with a growing tendency towards Conformity as the solution to any and all behavioral dilemmas.

They are deftly being controlled and manipulated, fed lies from dusk to dawn from one single source.

Previously these Monkeys had maintained an inter-connected, inter-dependent society based on trust and mutual, communal sharing.

However, due to the mind-numbing effects of the TV set, their society becomes increasingly filled with solitary, disconnected individuals who no longer receive the news via word of mouth from their neighbors in an inter-connected societal ritual.

now alone in their rooms, with blankets over the bleak windows and multicolored cables snaking across the stained carpets, they sit like shrunken Buddhas with hollowed-out sunken eyes, connected to the 'Big Hum' and staring fixedly into the eyes of people who aren't even there, falling in love with people who don't even exist and quietly chuckling to themselves over the antics of imaginary, fictitious characters late into the night.

They become morose, moribund, isolated and uncommunicative, and gradually the supports and ties of family, friends and fellow villagers, in other words the fibre and harmony of their society, which had traditionally been a major source of enjoyment of an evening, begins to loosen it's grip, fragment and dissolve.

The intrusive, transformative power of just one piece of technology had caused over a single century, an evolutionary shift of dramatic proportions for the entire island colony.

The effects were cumulative and inexorable.

They were
incrementally transformed over many generations into spiritually mute, half brain-dead creatures that possessed only a limited capacity for imagination or creativity, being in the end desensitized and lobotomized through an unrelenting assault of repetition, Lies and fear-laden whispers, and the incessant shattering of psychic calm through the use of quick sharp cuts, violence and sexualized imagery.

A society of emotionally crippled, dysfunctional ghosts, addicted to the quick fixes and highs, the disconnected sound bites and feel-good eye candy of a Consumerist Carnival, accustomed to a callous disregard for the sanctity of life, inured to violence and the sight of suffering humanity and fastidiously trained to never question the official Government line.

This was certainly not something that was achievable in a handful of decades, even with the new understanding of our Neuro-plastic brains...but in a century of remorseless conditioning?

Television has been with us for 90 years...what accumulated scarring I wonder, has left it's mark on our shared universe of ancient archetypes that abound in the Jungian collective unconscious?

What effects on our dreams collectively I wonder, and what effects does this unrelenting pollution of inner-space, this continuous assault have on human growth, on psychic calm, and on our states of consciousness?

How much empathy has been lost in this assault on our minds?

Finally the island colony and it's social fabric, having lost their last remnants of social cohesion were well on the way to ultimate fragmentation, crime and collapse...afflicted by a morally and spiritually bankrupt mind-set which to this day remains the hallmark of all consumer-obsessed, monetary societies.

Please note that when I refer to 'We', I accept, and it should be self-evident that present company is naturally excluded.

Conformity and the Obsolescence of Money in the Virtual World

I’m on temporary hiatus whilst attempting to untangle myself from the Virtual World with it’s many cul de sacs, traps, seductive horizons and prisons…

It’s not me that is saying this…these words are merely a sign, like a placard.

I’m actually not here at all…it is my avatar personal aid posting this.

I promised to let her i.e ‘Elena’ have a go.

She has this knack of getting under my skin, she knows just how to get at my psychic jugular.

So I programmed her to handle simple jobs like this.

Yeh, that’s right, I’m in ‘reality’ (excuse the use of a loaded term that is up for grabs nowadays) in a
vastly different world within the Virtual stream at the moment…

It’s nice here!…very invigorating, my subconscious is being plunged into a spectacular, sensual Bath.

My Libido is being actively engaged, is suddenly compelled to interact with it’s bewildering, lyrical and potentially hostile surroundings. Exotic Life-forms abound.

As I jack in to full resolution, Mirror Neurons are beginning to fire up in a large storm…my pulse
quickens as waves of bio-electrical energy pour over the cerebral landscape like a tsunami.

Imperceptibly the scene begins to emerge, at first flickering into view and then suddenly zooming into crystal clarity.

A naked amazonian female form stands flecked in lozenges of moonlight shaped by the rustling, shifting canopy of  leaves, appearing in sharp profile between some trees.

This is accompanied by a large release of Dopamine as my visual sensors take in the new surroundings.

My Hud bleeps accordingly with a visual readout…a rather high rate of mirror activity…I reach out for a wall instinctively, to steady myself and to wait for the accompanying tiny ripples of nausea to pass…the effect is unsettling, as is the occasional ‘lag’ in redraw rate.

My internal processing of the ‘stream’ still requires further growth to fully synchronise the experience.

This denotes my last real link to my pathetically limiting physical shell.

Soon, I will be able to leave that behind as well!… hang on!…just going through a Waterfall…can’t hear my uplink from the roar.

Ah, there is some kind of cave here, going down and deep into the cliff face. Much better…Great Accoustics In Here!

There is an acrid smell of smoke in the semi-darkness which would make me gag…

If I had a throat, however complete physiological integration is coming slowly in patches and endless upgrades.

Perhaps one of the best examples of a seductive prison which was my original introduction is with the online World of Second Life…

Sure it’s Free to download and use but everyone knows that the ‘real’ experience doesn’t begin properly until you have the Premium version.

Second Life reeks of Money!

Money permeates and corrupts this potentially halcyon online wonderland just as it does in real life i.e you exchange credits which can be exchanged for real geld to purchase anything from wardrobes to blowjobs to real estate.

Thus, with the simple, helpful introduction of money, a treacherous alliance at the best of times, we have introduced cancer to another potential life form.

In effect they blew it…with one fell swoop they destroyed a potentially marvellous world, a world with so many possibilities and potential for human growth and interaction, if only it wasn’t crippled by outmoded concepts such as a monetary universe…

You can literally stand back and watch as the psychopaths emerge from their chrysalis.

Watch the Players, the Movers, jostling into position with their ulterior motives, which naturally breeds suspicion…

Thus the whole cycle of scramble to the top begins anew.

Competitiveness therefore remains integral to the system, as does the obsession of status and status symbols.

All tell-tale signs of money’s presence and so last century.

Money is what we consider valuable.

It is what we know and are comfortable with.

We are creatures of habit, of conformity, following each other in single file on the peak-hour Freeways…

Money is what we use for human interaction in our familiar world and so naturally it also intrudes on our VR world.

But it needs to be recognised that Money is rapidly becoming obsolete to the end-game, no longer necessary or relevant to our purposes.

In fact counter productive if the end-game is our Survival as an Organism on the face of this Earth.

This unfortunately requires for most of us a huge shift in perspective, a threat to our cosy World so dramatic that for some it remains inconceivable.

Let me assure you that it is not only conceivable, but possible, practical i.e it actually makes ‘sense’ and ultimately I humbly suggest is essential to our survival on this precious speck of stardust.

Our values and views need a new-millennium-overhaul in line with the New Learning regarding the psychology of Man.

We need to celebrate the Black Sheep…

As human beings our gregarious nature betrays us, limits our capacity for change.

Changing this paradigm needs to come from within the group which is where our problem lie,s i.e: we need to belong to the group in order to effect change, however belonging is rather more about conforming to the group look, the group talk, behaviour etc., rather than your own.

We are inherently conformist creatures and that is the simple mechanism whereby we enslave ourselves.

Early in our ancestry man needed his brothers and sisters to survive the Dawn however that is no longer the case.

We have been liberated by our technology.

The old frames of reference should no longer apply.

From an evolutionary point of view conformity is no longer necessarily the best behavioural strategy conducive to your survival.

The monkeysphere is now exploding…

The rocks are quite *bzzzt, click, ‘Background hum detected’ bzzzt* slippery…

I’d better get out of here…I’m getting interference, basically when the processors suffer a kind of DDos attack…it’s the number of calculations involved with Waterfalls at extreme Rez
…so I’m still getting wet …just a tad slowly.

The Malaise of a Konsumer Kulture

Welcome to our illusory world of Hocus-pocus...of Abra-cadabra.

A World which is becoming increasingly Unreal and Synthetic...

If the Corporations can Fake it, bake and shake it...create a synthetic or imitation version of a product which looks or smells as good, or tastes almost as good as the real thing, then they will make that decision to imitate the genuine article every time!

Rather than sell the original authentic version of a product, due to their irrational and addict-like mind-set, and being addicted to Profit before any 'human' consideration, the Corporations will obsessively seek out a method of manufacturing their trade-marked alternative, their copy on an automated production line without human interference...

Driven by a deluded philosophy of Consumerism which states: Anything that is NEW...of Today, has to be better, by definition, than what is Old, of Yesterday.

They will then package it neatly to catch the eye, expending and creating more waste in the process, and following this they will market it all with a slick campaign of Spin and Lies...a campaign in the media and in cyber-space which further pollutes our sub-conscious terrain and collective reality.

Now, multiply this process a billion times a day and you have an idea of why we are all so Soul-dead and shell-shocked, why for those of us who live in the Capitalist West everything appears to be under threat of some kind, no longer makes any sense and appears to behave backwards to it's aims, and it explains why we are already half-dead inside...

It is for the same reason that our dreams are sometimes so exhausting and uncomfortable...
Our inner-voices are colliding in cognitive dissonance.

There is a distinct, identifiable schism in our modern age, one which had already been identified by the late 18th Century, and produced all that flowery prose in England and prolific writing of essays, especially in France.
In the early stages of Western Industrialization,
Romanticism began as a fresh new departure that represented a change, a maturation of Man's view.

Religion was slowly being eroded by the idolatry and new idealism of 'The Machine', and the resulting vacuum of atheism which the emergence of the machine had produced, was now being replaced by a new apprehension and appreciation of Nature, and our unique place within it by some of the leading artists, scientists and intellectuals of the day.

Jean-Jacques Rousseau for example (1712-1778) confessed himself to be a firm advocate.

Wanderer above the Fog ~ German Romantic Painter Caspar David Friedrich 1818

The Romantic movement in Western Art simply stated that pure logic and rationality alone were insufficient to answer all the really big questions of Life.
That for Human beings to be truly healthy and fulfilled, they required a Spiritual relationship with their environment and their surroundings.

This late 18th C school of thought appears to be rapidly re-emerging as our modern day plight, our disconnection with 'reality' appears to be ever more noticeable, intrusive and starkly defined as an irreconcilable rift between what we 'Feel' and what we 'See' and are forced to 'Do'...

We are moving in a direction which is anathema to Mother Nature...

Directly into the furious, tempestuous winds of Gaia we march, like foolish children into the fog, who are emboldened by each other's presence, as we continue headlong on our blind pathological quest to pursue the ultimate in God-like power.

We have been shaped and conditioned for over a century now, by Corporate agendas which have taken control of our Governments, and they have sculpted and molded us into insensitive, unempathetic and short-sighted creatures who have lost touch with our origins, our roots and our hearth, our Spiritual home Mother Earth.

Gaia or Mother Earth

Obedience and a sense of tribal Patriotism have always been smiled upon by our Corporate media:

"He was a law-abiding man who loved his Country and joined the Marines" was often the opening plot description.

And why wouldn't he be?

After all, War is a racket, the most profitable and the most heinous racket there is, and loving your Country means that he or she will fight on foreign shores for it; "My Country right or wrong"

Gee Whiz, now wasn't that just about every single story on American television and cinema in the 40's, 50's and 60's?

Not necessarily the entire military aspect, but they sure as Apple-pie always Loved their Country and the brave Men and Women who defended it.

I cannot recall ever seeing an American movie of that particular vintage which featured a conflicted Hero who hated and despised his Country...that was just inconceivable, the propaganda was so intense.

Whereas artists or individualists or anyone who didn't completely conform to the official party line or anyone with a different point of view to that of the Corporations was a potential threat, and was speedily and effectively marginalized as a fringe lunatic by the talking heads.

For example the repressive McCarthy era, which had Americans petrified and looking under their beds for Reds (communists) and crying out for War.

The Corporations predictably still hold the reins of Government, and so very little has changed, except perhaps the incredibly shrinking duration of peace between the wars.

Sensitivity has now become an unmanageable and bothersome attribute which just gets in the way... a needless band-width of irrelevant noise which hinders the Corporation's agenda to control both our bodies and our minds.

True Artistic conviction and sensibilities can no longer be afforded, but a wan imitation, a superficial performance of them can always be found in the Media and the Corporate Press, being used to sell a particular message, over and over again ad nauseum.

The Corporatocracy and it's privatized education system does not encourage or foster the exceptional, the original, the creative or the revolutionary human being, it simply manufactures mediocrity and obedient serfs.

As a part of the herd, as slaves, we silently comply with the System's never-ending, unspoken objective...

We obediently participate in the collective Crimes of Reality as our economic System goes about literally attempting to pervert and re-shape Nature and the trajectory of it's course, attempting to bend it towards society's own vain and ignoble, commercially driven image, whilst on a certain sub-conscious level, we still yearn to ride with, rather than against, the miraculous forces which shape our environment.

A quiet inner-voice of ours still whispers from the Wild...sometimes invading our dreams over-night and leaving in their wake, a fresh Crop-Circle of patterns that resonate inside us, harmonies that celebrate our place within the natural order, instead of ignoring our position and defying our symbiotic relationship.

What grand, foolish and ultimately tragic Hubris we are displaying collectively as a Species!

How 'intelligent' would our behavior as a species appear to a visiting Alien spacecraft I often wonder?

To imagine that we 'Animals' are somehow transcendentally different and divinely special is a dangerous vanity indeed...

Revealing our insecurities, neuroses and existential dread about our future only in the dead of night, and once again motivated out of Fear, we tell ourselves that our 'intelligence' alone is somehow enough to give us moral supremacy and ownership over all that we survey, that we are thereby categorically separated from the Animal Kingdom and our environment, and that by using our clouded logic and relying on the time-honored traditions of the past, we can safely ignore the Laws of Nature.

In fact we consciously design machines, technology and processes which work directly in conflict with, and in direct opposition to these Laws, and yet we still do not dwell on or expect any serious ramifications or consequences.

I guess this is not so surprising when we remember that our old Institutions of Western thought have never understood or recognized the inevitability of our present predicament, even our Religious establishments have always been silent on the wisdom of ecological sustainability.

It is only when we leave behind Pride & the Imperialistic over-reach of Rome and Western Civilization, and begin to examine the ancient texts of the East, such as Taoism and Buddhism, and the songs of the indigenous peoples of the Earth, that we again discover an inherent wisdom which retains it's relevance right up to the present day, and contains that necessary reverence for our environment and for Life itself, which is so familiar to Eco-Activists today.

The design of our Western World today, in 2014, has more in common with a cancerous carbuncle than any logically designed process of Economic management... in fact it is sheer madness and obviously the product of a diseased mindset and philosophy.

It's a dysfunctional, pathological ethos which laces the seeds for it's own extinction into the fabric of its own design, and we can sense this malign, disturbed destiny that hangs menacingly over us all, as it invades our minds on a sub-conscious level, filling our heads with a heavy cloud of unspoken anxiety, a relentless soul-sapping 'angst' which never quite goes away.

Consciously avoiding inconvenient truths is a luxury we can no longer afford as our technology continues to transform us, hastening change and quickening it's own pace.

Our concept of distance has been smashed by our technology and we have run out of 'other hills to cross', other rivers and valleys to pollute.

Among the influential philosophies of the past which have given birth to our modern-age views, during the age of Adam Smith (1723-1790) and John Locke (1632-1704) in particular, who were two of Capitalism's seminal Grandfathers, the concept of Land and Property was refined and worked into a body of thought which we recognize today as our very own, even though it has come out of an era which was dramatically colored by their particular, technologically limited perspective of a vast world so large, that in some cases it took years to traverse from one country or continent to another on the other side of the planet.

This was an 'Age' in which there was always another hill to cross...another river to ford...
an obviously deeply embedded and erroneous assumption, and an example of the type of false thinking which has been swept away, as other new anachronisms are revealed, by the ever advancing light of our science and technology.

So we stand on a new plateau overlooking a brand new rarely glimpsed by the great minds of the past, and it is for this reason i.e ~

We have arrived at a time in history unique for humanity, one wherein assorted disaster scenarios have pooled together and have culminated at the Gates, like 'Riders of the Apocalypse' at their collectively ominous, hockey-stick moment of exponential growth.

Tremendous forces of change are now looming on the horizon.

Due to the vulnerability of our position on a planet where every single Life-process is in decline, I humbly propose that the moment for an educational, cultural and intellectual revolution has arrived...

We should finally and utterly reject the cliched institutional influences of the past, their tired old assumptions and their parroting ideological schools of thought, as it is now increasingly evident that the end-goal plan of the Capitalists, the myth of the American Dream was always doomed to it was constructed out of false premises and superstitions.

An end to 'ISMS'...An end to all antiquated Ideological and Religious thinking which, without evidence assumes that the 'new wine' of our Present reality can be poured and fits neatly into the old, fragmenting wine-skin of the Past.

What poor, blind fools we are...we have lost our way, and we are now stumbling obliviously through an utterly new and alien landscape, one which reeks from it's unnatural origins, which shakes and trembles beneath our feet.

A world that is silently killing us with a profusion of brand new toxic substances that swarm unknown and undetectable through our atmosphere...

These are chemicals which are reacting with each other in a real-world setting, in a process that is only now at this present moment being unwittingly trialed and tested by it's participants, a sleep-walking, captive audience.

We are somewhat reminiscent of caged rodents ...and while those unfortunate, caged mammals in research laboratories around the world continue to feed off each others anxiety, their piercing cries against the unknown should humbly remind us all that we share a common fate with our animal cousins in our involuntary role as test-subjects, trapped behind neon-lit bars, as we continue to live and breath deep inside the unconscious and unthinking commercial experiment that is our consumer-based World.
